Privacy Policy.
Short version: this site does not track you. There are no cookies, no analytics and no advertising. A few small settings are kept on your own device so the site remembers your choices.
Who is responsible
This website, emmanuelapetsi.com, is run by Emmanuel Apetsi. Questions about privacy go to hello@emmanuelapetsi.com.
What we collect
We do not ask you to create an account and we do not collect personal information through the site itself. Specifically:
- No cookies are set by this site.
- No analytics or tracking tools are used, and no advertising networks are loaded.
- No third-party requests are made when you browse: fonts, images and code are served from this domain.
What stays on your device
The site uses your browser’s own storage for the following. This information never leaves your device and is not sent to us.

You can clear these at any time in your browser settings. The site works without them.
When you contact us
The terminal’s message and collaborate commands, the “send it to Emmanuel” receipt button and the email links do not send anything by themselves. They open your own email app with a message filled in, and nothing is sent until you press send there. If you do, we receive your email address, your name if you include it, and whatever you write. We use that only to reply to you and to discuss what you wrote about, and we keep it only as long as needed for that conversation. We do not sell it or share it for marketing.
The “tear off” receipt image is created on your device and saved straight to your downloads.
The phone on the desk has a camera app. It only switches your camera on when you tap “Start camera” and your browser asks for permission. The photo is made on your device, the camera turns off as soon as it is taken, and the photo is never uploaded. If you save it, it goes straight to your downloads.
Server logs
Like almost every website, our hosting provider automatically records basic technical details of each request, such as IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time. These logs are used to keep the site secure and working, and are kept for a limited period by the host.
Links to other sites
Links to LinkedIn, X, Instagram, apetsi.com and other sites take you to services with their own privacy policies. We are not responsible for how they handle your information.
The share buttons on the blog (X, LinkedIn, WhatsApp, Facebook), the share buttons in the phone’s Quotes app and the “Ask an AI about me” buttons (ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Google AI Mode, Grok) are plain links. Nothing is loaded from those services while you read; they are only contacted if you click one, and then their own policies apply. “Copy link” uses your device’s clipboard and sends nothing.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete any information we hold about you from emails you have sent us, or object to how it is used. Write to hello@emmanuelapetsi.com and we will respond within a reasonable time. We aim to handle personal data in line with Ghana’s Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843) and other laws that apply to you.
Children
This site is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
